Sewing Sisters
It all begins with an idea. Rotarians and Friends prepare hygiene kits for dispatch to PNG. These kits help ensure young women can attend school. Importantly the kits can be washed and re-used, minimising the costs and environmental impacts. Donations of cotton fabric and cotton thread would be appreciated. These can be dropped off at the Senior Citizens Centre, Angelo Street, South Perth

Dial-A-Santa
Dial-A-Santa is a community project of the Rotary Club of Mill Point in South Perth and assisted by other Rotary Clubs.
The Dial-A-Santa program provides Santa and Elves to come to your home, school or workplace for a donation. With these funds we predominantly support children and youth causes.

Sri Lankan Eye Clinics
Each year Rotarian volunteers give up their time to travel to Sri Lanka conducting eye clinics for the poor and needy who cannot access eye care as easily as we can.
Over 4 -5 days nearly 500 people a day are seen, tested and provided with eye glasses. This enables them to either seek work, return to work or attend school. For more information visit www.globalhandcharity.org.au
Joint venture with Global Hand Sri Lanka Eye Project
The RC of Mill Point work closely with other entities and collaborate to bring help to international as well as local communities.
This video shows the extent of this volunteer program which saw Rotarians, students, professionals both young and older who helped make this project a success.
1,841 Sri Lankans were tested and prescribed for over a three day period - a magnificent feat by all counts. Enjoy and turn up your sound!
The Rotary Club of Mill Point (RCMP) has many projects which are listed in following pages on this site.
The above are our major projects but we do so much more both locally and internationally.
We welcome suggestions from members and the local community.
